Hlengiwe and Buhle appointed as Account Executives
Being an Account Executive requires a skilled communicator; someone who can find the best fit between the customer and the product. We introduce our two new team members, who are both committed to the understanding of what our customers are wanting and are focused on enhancing the service experience within RPC Astrapak Pak 2000.
RPC Astrapak Sales and Marketing Executive Greg Till said: “In line with our strategy to optimise the current sales structure and re-define roles and responsibilities, it gives me great pleasure to announce the appointment of two Account Executives with effect from 1 June 2018. These two individuals will report to the General Manager and will service the automotive sector.”
With a proven track record, both these dynamic sales professionals will assist Greg to further strengthen RPC Astrapak’s position with key customers and re-position Pak 2000 in the marketplace.
A familiar face at RPC Astrapak and part of the team since 2013, Hlengiwe Thusini has moved into the Account Executive position after her role as a Key Account Manager for the past five years. Over the last 12 months she has formed strong relationships with key customers in the automotive sector, and her goal is to continue building and strengthening relationships with customers in this sector.
Hlengiwe believes that “we have to know our customers intimately to build and forge solid relationships.” Understanding that our company’s core values of Integrity and Honesty come into play whilst dealing with both old and new clients, she also realises the need to ensure that the best Quality product is continuously provided in order to effectively grow in the market.
Hlengiwe is currently furthering her studies by doing a BCom in Marketing Management, and when she has time to wind down, she enjoys going to gym and is actively involved in her church. With her 15-year-old son, Lu-yanda, she watches a lot of soccer and also supports him as he plays at school.
Buhle Mbatha joins us from Rheem SA, where she held the position of Regional Sales Manager. Holding a qualification in Business Management, Buhle has also focused on the automotive industry. She already holds strategic relationships with key customers, which has enabled her to ‘hit the ground running’ at RPC Astrapak.
For Buhle, customers are the life of every business, and she understands that customers are what makes the business tick. “Without them there is no business.” Having been exposed to a global company before, Buhle felt that moving to Pak 2000 was the kind of culture that she wanted to be part of. Customer service is of great importance to her, as well as creating and maintaining relationships between the company and the customer.
When she is relaxing, Buhle enjoys reading and has a flair for writing inspirational articles inspired by the books that she reads. She has two boys aged seven and one, who keep her very busy outside of work. She wants to be a role model to her sons, and she shows them what hard work looks like.
